Being male, I think the worst time in our life is when we are in the company of our partner, our dear beloved, moving from one store to another you know that look in her eyes, it's the one that she gets when a shopping spree is beginning, guys you know what I mean we have all been through it.
The one ideal answer I can think of is when you turn on the Computer and after a few clicks of the mouse all is solved by going onto your favourite site and ordering at leisure, the time people spend shopping online at the online stores has increased over the past five years and that has encouraged a lot of smaller keyhole and similar sites to try their luck in persuading customers to visit and buy from them, many of them have been successful using affiliations which have a large inventory and a lot of customers prefer it and give the site repeat orders.
Being able to choose the needs of your partner at a more leisurely pace takes the strain out of shopping, the reasons for the arguments evaporate and both you are a lot happier, I know that when I do a large order it's shopping its online for me, gone are the days when my hands ache from the bite of the plastic carrier bags as they try to cut through your fingers, and if you know what you are doing you can find a lot more discounts online than in store as many of the affiliations offer coupons.
I have heard the saying many times that if you can't find it on the Internet then it doesn't exist, the only problem is that when you do find something people are always asking themselves am I getting the best deal from that particular site, well I think that if you can order something and the site and is prompt in delivery and in after sales, then paying a little more isn't too bad, I have in the past fallen into the trap when buying cheaply from other sites and getting nothing but problems, take care is the watch word always go with names you know and trust.
These days if you want an anniversary or a birthday card there are many sites available for you to use and more convenient, travelling to the nearest card shop and having to look through hundreds of similar cards that never really says anything important to you is in the past, now you can go online and create your own masterpiece.
One day the time will come when some one will create a virtual supermarket, and by using an avatar you will be able to stroll through the building at leisure choosing the products by the click of a mouse, the competition between each site is so high that some have found it a benefit to dedicate themselves to a particular type of product say tea and coffee where they can offer many blends that don't usually find their way into supermarkets and get overlooked, I have found that when someone finds a blend that suites them and a site that supplies it, they will stick with it.
One thing I haven't mentioned yet is about impulse shopping, I feel that with shopping online you don't suffer so much from impulse buying, when you go through row after row of items in store the chances are you will finish up with more in your basket than you needed, the bane of your life is going into a Supermarket and have to max out your Credit Card because of that little luxury you can't do without, I believe that being on an internet site it gives you more time to make the right choice concerning your purchase and the price you have to pay, gone are the days of the high pressure salesman looking over your shoulder and making life uncomfortable for you.
Up to now I have written in a mans perspective but I have to say the biggest advantage has to be with women, where they can visit a site selling female Apparel, the love of your life can order several styles and sizes, we all know a woman needs time to choose and have the opportunity to return the articles she has rejected, any site with that policy will have an advantage over their completion and it makes life a lot easier for each of you, not having to trail back to the store and return the articles in person, in conclusion the advantages of shopping on the internet has an advantage not just for you and your partner, there are people for one reason or another housebound with mobility problems so makes life easier for them.
I have been retired some years now, having to leave work early due to ill health. The most of my life has been in the retail business although it's a nice change to be doing something for myself.
