  1. this is some of the greatest pieces of music! i had the benefit of playin it last year in high school band… well more like listen to it… bari sax doesnt really have much in the piece. lol still, i actually liked listening to it more than play my parts!

  2. @soignefromage well it’s all about accepting people’s right to feel differently from ourselves :)

  3. @ntimate sorry about typo – there :(

  4. @ntimate Are you sure? I would be very surprised, since in the much smaller Virtual Choir for Lux Aurumque their are loads of black faces. :)

  5. @oohdahloli7 Well it’s odd because I can be really picky but I actually want to be reminded that it is about 2000 human beings coming together and creating an almost-unity. I find it really moving. :)

  6. Goosebumps all over.

  7. Listened to it in choir and now i want to sing this for our last song as seniors in high school :)

  8. So cool

  9. @teenbeautyaddict ah…..that actually makes a lot of sense……

  10. Eric Whitacre is incredible! To direct without hearing a single sound, and hearing it all in ones head….that is just…extraordinary! I mean look at what came from that! 2,052 people from all over the world coming together in voice….its amazing!

  11. This is BEAUTiFUL!!!!

  12. I love this. Eric Whitacre is just so…genius. I keep hoping he might come to my university’s Contemporary Music Festival but I doubt that would every actually happen.

  13. This is SPECTACULAR!

  14. @tristanc89 Eric Whitacre…duh….

  15. who the crap is that guy directing!?

  16. I sang The Seal Lullaby with my choir and it was beautiful.

  17. 123 people are gingers with no souls

  18. 123 people don’t have a soul D:

  19. it is litte bit too much

  20. i dont actually understand why any human being with a soul could dislike this

  21. @mozellagi He should try working with a choir of OVER 9000!

    Sorry, I had to.

  22. thumbs up if ben stiller is staring at you!!!!!

  23. This video is amazing! I don’t even have words to describe how much I love this! Eric Whitacre has an incredible talent, he is very inspiring!

  24. i love this kind of songs and this song is amazing ♥

  25. Somehow I love this version more than any drilled, professional choir. The unsync’d ‘sss’ syllables sound like the universe is aligned XDD Perfection can be imperfect.
